In 2019, my world was shattered when my then 9-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia.
We fought alongside him for two and a half years, holding onto hope with everything we had. For a time, it felt like our prayers had been answered. He was in remission, his health was improving, and we allowed ourselves to believe in a future beyond cancer.
But in November 2023, our worst nightmare became reality. The cancer returned with a vengeance, and in just 20 days, my beloved son, my brave warrior, was gone.
He left behind a silence, a space, and a depth of grief that words cannot fully hold.
In the midst of that pain, something within me called for connection. Not isolation, not silence, but a place where grief could be felt, expressed, and witnessed without judgment.
Grieving Hearts United was created from that calling.
It is a space for those navigating the weight of loss, the confusion, the ache, and everything in between. A space where you do not have to pretend to be okay.
Where healing is not rushed, and where even in the darkest moments, there is still the possibility of light.
Through meditation, sound healing, and community, we come together, not because the pain disappears, but because it becomes something we no longer have to carry alone.

Meet Dominique- The Heart Behind This Space
Grieving Hearts United is held and guided by Dominique, whose journey through deep loss led her to create a space rooted in compassion, presence, and understanding.
Through her own healing, she has come to understand that grief is not something to fix, but something to be witnessed, supported, and gently moved through.
With a heart for connection and a deep respect for each individual’s path, Dominique creates experiences that invite you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
