Terms & Conditions – Grieving Hearts United

Effective Date: 04/23/2026


Welcome to Grieving Hearts United. By booking, attending, or participating in any of our services, events, or experiences, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Nature of Services

Grieving Hearts United offers holistic healing experiences, including but not limited to sound baths, meditation, relaxation sessions, and community-based healing gatherings.

These services are designed to support emotional well-being, relaxation, and personal growth. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.


2. Personal Responsibility & Health Disclaimer

By participating in any event or service, you acknowledge that:

  • You are voluntarily participating at your own risk
  • You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being
  • You will consult a medical professional if you have any concerns prior to participation

If you have any of the following conditions, you agree to notify us before participating:

  • Pregnancy
  • Epilepsy or seizures
  • Heart conditions or pacemaker use
  • Severe mental health conditions
  • Sensitivity to sound

You understand that certain instruments (including gongs and sound frequencies) may not be suitable for all individuals.


3. Assumption of Risk

Participation in sound baths and floating sound bath experiences may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Slipping or falling (especially in poolside environments)
  • Physical discomfort
  • Emotional release or unexpected emotional responses

By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.


4. Floating Sound Bath & Water Safety

For events held at private residences or pool locations:

  • There is no lifeguard on duty
  • Participants must be comfortable in and around water
  • You are responsible for your own safety at all times
  • Grieving Hearts United and the property owner are not liable for any injury, accident, or incident

You agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the event.


5. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grieving Hearts United, its owner, facilitators, and any hosting property owners shall not be held liable for:

  • Any injuries, accidents, or losses
  • Emotional or physical reactions during or after sessions
  • Personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged

By participating, you release and hold harmless all parties involved.


6. Payments, Deposits & Refund Policy

  • All bookings are final unless otherwise stated
  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • No-shows will not be refunded
  • Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion

If an event is canceled by Grieving Hearts United, a reschedule or refund will be provided.


7. Respectful Conduct

Grieving Hearts United is a safe and supportive space. By participating, you agree to:

  • Treat others with respect and kindness
  • Refrain from disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior
  • Honor the emotional experiences of others

We reserve the right to remove any participant who does not uphold these standards without refund.


8. Emotional Release Acknowledgment

You understand that participation may bring up emotions, memories, or personal experiences. This is a natural part of the healing process.

You agree that you are responsible for seeking additional support if needed after the session.


9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, branding, and experiences provided by Grieving Hearts United are the intellectual property of the business and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.


10. Modifications

Grieving Hearts United reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.


11. Agreement

 By booking or attending any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. 


12. Equipment & Property Damage

Participants agree to treat all instruments, equipment, and property with care and respect.

Any intentional damage to instruments or property may result in financial responsibility for repair or replacement costs.


Grieving Hearts United reserves the right to charge for damages where applicable and permitted by payment authorization agreements.

These services are not licensed medical or mental health treatments and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Participation is voluntary, and all individuals are responsible for their own well-being before, during, and after any session.

Merchandise Return & Refund Policy

 

Merchandise Return & Refund Policy – Grieving Hearts United

All merchandise sales are final.

Due to the nature of our products, including made-to-order, personalized, and drop-shipped items, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once an order has been placed.

Personalized & Custom Items

For all personalized items (including but not limited to recordable bears and custom products), customers are responsible for ensuring that all details—such as spelling, names, dates, and messages—are entered correctly at the time of purchase.

Once an order is submitted, it is immediately processed for production and cannot be changed, corrected, or canceled.

Grieving Hearts United is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at:

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

We will review the issue and, if applicable, provide a replacement or resolution at our discretion.

Order Issues & Support

We are committed to ensuring you receive your items as intended. If you experience any issues with your order, please reach out and we will do our best to assist you.
